Book Kaylen Today About KaylenYou may be feeling emotionally exhausted from carrying so much on your own. Perhaps you are grieving the loss of someone important to you, adjusting to a chronic or life-limiting illness, struggling with anxiety or depression, or feeling overwhelmed by the demands of everyday life. Even when things appear manageable on the outside, you may feel stuck, drained, disconnected, or uncertain about what comes next. You do not have to navigate these challenges alone.
My name is Kaylen Leonienco, and I am a Registered Social Worker providing virtual therapy for adults and children across Ontario. With over 13 years of experience as a social worker, I have worked alongside individuals and families navigating grief, chronic and life-limiting illness, caregiving responsibilities, anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, and major life transitions. My experience in hospice settings has given me a deep understanding of the complexity of loss, resilience, and the many ways people adapt when life changes in unexpected ways.
I specialize in supporting individuals experiencing grief and loss, chronic illness, anxiety, depression, stress, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. Whether you are coping with a recent loss, adjusting to changes in your health, caring for a loved one, or struggling with challenges that feel difficult to put into words, therapy can provide a space to better understand your experience and move forward in a way that feels meaningful and sustainable.
My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based approaches. While I draw from these evidence-based therapies, our sessions are ultimately collaborative conversations focused on you, your experiences, and the goals that matter most to you. Together, we will explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, strengthen your ability to cope with difficult emotions, and support you in building a life that feels more aligned with your values.
My hope is not that you remain in therapy indefinitely, but that you leave with greater confidence in your ability to navigate life’s challenges, a deeper sense of self-understanding, and more capacity for resilience, connection, and self-compassion.
I am currently accepting new virtual clients across Ontario. If you feel we may be a good fit, I invite you to reach out to book a free 20-minute consultation.
