As Anishinaabe Kwe, an Indigenous practitioner, I provide culturally safe and supportive art therapy tailored to the needs of Indigenous clients. My approach recognizes the unique experiences and challenges many Indigenous, Inuit and Metis people face, including:
- Intergenerational trauma and historical impacts
- Stress, anxiety, and life transitions
- Emotional expression and self-discovery
- Strengthening resilience and cultural identity
Through creative expression, clients can explore emotions, process experiences, and develop coping strategies in a safe, healing-focused environment. Sessions are available in-person or online, and Indigenous clients may access support through the Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) program.
My goal is to provide an inclusive and culturally grounded space that fosters self-expression, emotional wellness, and personal growth.
