Why do your assessment with Spacious Mind Counselling?

We will work together to help you better understand how autism shows up in your life, recognize the patterns and experiences that shape your day-to-day functioning, build on your strengths, and identify areas where adjustments or new approaches might make life easier and more fulfilling. Together, we can develop greater self-awareness so that you can make choices that work for you and align with who you are.

Our therapists are trained in CBT, DBT, emotion-focused therapy, and more modalities that can be used in combination to create a treatment plan that works for you.

Cost of assessment:

There is a $350 +HST fee for data collection and administration of the questionnaires and collateral information requested prior to your assessment with the psychiatrist. The psychiatrist fees are covered through OHIP but you would pay for your sessions with the psychotherapist (step 2, 5 and 6 above) which can be covered if your benefits cover psychotherapy.
